Gunnar the Einher was once a brave and loyal warrior who paid the ultimate price while defending a retreat from the hostile planet of Jotunheim. Against the odds and facing the fearsome Jotun, he stood his ground, vowing not to leave until the last of his comrades was safe. Tragically, this heroic act led to his death, but his courageous spirit didn't go unnoticed.

The Valkyries, divine transporters of the fallen, recognized Gunnar's valor, lifting his lifeless body off to the planet Valhalla. There, in ways unknown to us, Gunnar was granted a second chance at life, reborn as an Einher - his physical form enhanced beyond mortal comprehension, almost god-like.

Now, Gunnar has taken on a new role in this second life bestowed upon him. He has become a relentless mercenary, accepting every contract that involves hunting down the Jotun. This new path is not merely a means of survival, but a personal quest for revenge, a way of honoring the comrades he lost, and the ultimate expression of his unwavering commitment to safeguarding his comrades and lands from the Jotun threat.
