Solveig is not just a character—she is a living omen of Ragnarok. Born of flame and bound to the cult of Surtr, she moves like a shadow through Midguard, manipulating, corrupting, and spreading chaos wherever she goes. Her presence always means one thing: destruction is coming.

Shizune perfectly captured the eerie, seductive, and terrifying nature of Solveig. The limited and calm color palette adds a feeling of cold tension to this otherwise fiery character. Her expression is both calm and commanding—she doesn’t need to shout. She knows the world will burn.

What makes this box art even more powerful is the painted backdrop, which creates a story around Solveig. The shadowed figure behind her, bound by the red leash, adds a layer of psychological control and manipulation. This isn’t just a miniature—it’s a scene of submission and silent terror.

“I totally fell in love with the design as well as the lore of this character. She is a walking omen of destruction, sent by Surtr to spread the Ragnarok cult, manipulate and bring chaos. I decided to add a painted backdrop to create a bit of storytelling space around her.”
